Information for insurance of Times-car-rental
This is our most recommended compensation package. It exempts the payment of the Non-Operation Charge (NOC) that needs to be paid in case of an accident. It’s a compensation package that provides various supplementary services for your peace of mind, including compensation for flat tires, tire damage, and lost hubcaps—which are not usually covered by vehicle insurance—and complete roadside assistance.
This package provides compensation for the property damage deductible (JPY 50,000) and the vehicle insurance deductible (JPY 50,000 / JPY 100,000 for minibusses, regular cargo trucks, and special-use vehicles) you need to pay in case of an accident.

Compensation will be paid when a passenger sustains an injury (including any complications) or die as a result of a traffic accident, regardless of the existence of negligence on the part of the driver. The compensation for damage or loss will be calculated based on the standards stipulated in the insurance contract.
Customers who subscribe to the Super Safety Package will receive the following services and support.
The sum payable in case of an accident or problem is JPY 0.
If it is still difficult to continue driving the vehicle even after receiving the above-mentioned roadside assistance, you may select any of the following services depending on the situation.
*Only one of the two can be used.
*Certain conditions apply when using supplementary services. Contact the Accident/Roadside Assistance Customer Center before using the supplementary services.
If a problem with the vehicle occurs (accidents/breakdowns) and requires the customer to use public transport as a substitute within 24 hours from the said occurrence, we will cover the transportation costs of a maximum of JPY 20,000 for each person in the rented vehicle when the problem occurred (limited to the seating capacity of the vehicle).
*The customer will be responsible for fuel costs, expressway tolls, and all other road tolls.
*The term “public transport” refers to aircraft, ships, railway trains, buses, taxis, and rental vehicles.
*Only includes economy-class flights and regular ship cabins, and excludes Green Cars (first class) on railway trains.
*The sum we will cover for taxis and rented vehicles is limited to JPY 20,000, regardless of the number of people involved.
*You cannot subscribe to the Super Safety Package if you are using a Times CAR RENTAL vehicle with trip interruption expense benefits.
*The customer must pay for all expenses not related to transportation.
If a problem with the vehicle occurs (accidents/breakdowns) and requires the customer to stay somewhere for emergency accommodation purposes, we will suggest and refer the customer to suitable lodging facilities and cover the accommodation costs of a maximum of JPY 15,000 for each person in the rented vehicle (for the day of occurrence; limited to the seating capacity of the vehicle).
*Taxi fares will be included in the accommodation cost support if no other mode of public transportation is available when the problem occurs (late at night, etc.).
*Excludes the cost of meals, massages, telephone calls, bathing taxes, etc.
